My name is emily ellen and i want you to inspire you to think and build bigger.
I'll never forget the day I was speaking at the Slowflowers Summit to a group of floral designers and flower farmers. The talk was about reinventing my business and I was just getting to the part about teaching women to build and use their tools to build the ideas in their heads.
I shared with them my greatest gift, my most cherished talent- THE ABILITY TO MAKE ANYTHING I IMAGINE.
I know this about myself. I am not a master at building anything. Everything I build doesn't even come out exactly as I had imagined.
But what I do know is my tools and materials. I know how to communicate ideas. I know where to get help in figuring it out and I know who can help me build it, if I don't do it myself.
I know, most of all, that anything can be figured out.
I remember tearing up when I tried to describe the immense power I feel in the knowing that any idea I dream up, I can make real. I have the power to transform my surroundings, build environments that evoke the feelings I want, and inspire.
That makes me a powerful woman.
I'd love for you to feel that, too. I want to help you gain the knowledge and skills to be able to build bigger.
